Samsung Galaxy Note 7 made a big buzz last year after its exploding incident happen. Everyone thought that it is the end of the Galaxy Note series and Samsung will never recover from this disgrace. But it came to a surprise that the giant Korean tech company will release the all-new Galaxy Note 8 this year even after the controversy.
The Galaxy Note 7 will surely mark as the biggest failure for Samsung Electronics but it didn't stop the company to manufacture smartphones for their loyal consumers. Samsung earlier stated that they will reveal the cause of Galaxy Note 7 defects and promise to devised special measure to protect its users for their future products.
And now, Samsung revealed the release date and special features of the Galaxy Note 8 in a recent report. According to Business Korea, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy Note 8 in the second half of this year following the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge in April. It was hinted that it might be released sometime in mid-August.
The report also says that the Korean company will not leave the development of its phablet line as the market for this kind of gadget is growing fast. It was also disclosed that the Note 8 will have the same design and special feature as with the Galaxy S8 that will surely put excitement to phone enthusiasts.
According to Digital Trends, as Samsung will introduce an artificial intelligence (AI) assistant to Galaxy S8 upon its release in April, it appears that Galaxy Note 8 will have the same attribute and the AI assistant will be called "Bixby". Aside from this feature, the design and display will also be upgraded for the Note 8.
Samsung will offer a 4K resolution display in the Galaxy Note 8 that will be used for its virtual reality (VR) feature to make the display more realistic as per stated in the report. With this exciting revelation from Samsung for the Note 8, they are surely back from a disaster that brought by the Galaxy Note 7.
