Cleveland Browns Rumors: Delusional Hue Jackson Vows Team Is 'Going To Win A Championship' [VIDEO]

Hue Jackson's confidence reads more and more like delusion.

The Browns haven't made it to playoffs since 2002 and have become a laughingstock in the NFL.

Cleveland has finished in dead last in the AFC North every season but once since 2008. The lone exception is a third-place finish in 2010, which wasn't enough for a playoff berth.

The team hasn't won a championship since taking home the NFL title in 1964. Luckily thanks to the Cavaliers, the city is no longer starved for a title.
That didn't stop Jackson from guaranteeing one ... sometime during his tenure.

"I'm going to do the best job I can with our staff and these players and we're going to keep working at it," Jackson told Cleveland.com. "My point is eventually they will love me because we're going to win. We're going to win a championship here for the Cleveland Browns."

The pursuit to a Super Bowl championship hasn't started well for the Browns this season. The team is coming off of a 29-10 defeat at the hands of the Eagles on Sunday where Carson Wentz, who was acquired by Philadelphia after they traded for Cleveland's No. 2 overall pick, carved them up.

The Browns also have quarterback issues of their own as starter Robert Griffin III is dealing with a shoulder injury.

Nevertheless, in his first season as Browns coach, Jackson feels good about turning the franchise around.

"That's what it's all about,'' Jackson said about a Super Bowl ring. "It's not about anything else. That's what I came here for. I didn't come here to be average and just win a few games and go about my business. I came here to help this organization win a championship. How fast that's going to happen I don't know. I don't know if there's going to be a ton of struggle before there's a ton of great times, but I don't worry about people not being happy right now."
