CM Punk UFC Debut Rumors: Former Wrestler Admits He Had Embarrassing Accident Once During WWE Match [VIDEO]

CM Punk sure hopes his UFC debut goes better than a match he once had with Dean Ambrose.

The former WWE Superstar is slated to face Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland. It will mark his first fight in the Octagon.

When asked if he was nervous for his UFC debut, the former WWE Superstar told a hilarious story about his a match he was in back in 2013 when he ... had an accident.

"It's funny because you can ask yourself, 'What happens if I lose? What happens if I get embarrassed in front of the world?'" Punk said, according to TMZ. "And then you think to yourself, 'Well, you s--t yourself on national television before so how bad can it go? How bad could it really be?'"

It seems even his bout with Gall can't go that bad.

Punk left the WWE in January of 2014 after his frustrations reached the boiling point. He's now ready to take the next step in his career by entering the Octagon against Gall at UFC 203.

The "Best in the World's" training and preparation for his first fight is being chronicled in a four-part documentary series called "Evolution of Punk," which airs every Monday night on FS1 in the lead-up to the big battle with Gall. Punk's opponent is more experienced and owns a 2-0 record in the promotion.

A recent episode of the series showed some of the struggles Punk had when it came to acclimating himself to mixed martial arts, but he downplayed his struggles, which were shown when he was just 12 weeks into training.

I'm sparring with guys that should absolutely beat me every single time," Punk says in the clip, "but that's when you learn. You fall flat on your face, you get up."

One must wonder what his wife, former WWE Diva AJ Lee, thinks of the accident her husband had in the ring.
