CM Punk, AJ Lee Rumors: Couple Prepared For 'Evolution Of Punk' Documentary [PHOTOS, VIDEO]

CM Punk and AJ Lee are returning to television on Monday nights again.

No, the former WWE personalities won't be on the company's flagship show "Monday Night RAW," but they will be in the four-part documentary on Punk's road to the Octagon.

Fox Sports 1 is set to air part one of the "Evolution of Punk," which chronicles the former WWE Champion's journey into the Octagon. Lee, who met Punk in the WWE and left the company over a year after he did, will also be a major part of the film as she took part in the filming of it.

In the lead up to the premiere of the documentary, "Evolution of Punk" director Rory Karpf has been tweeting out teasers for the show.

The pictures he's displayed show Punk and Lee laying together as the cameras roll:

Punk stormed out of the WWE back in January 2014 amid his myriad frustrations with the company.

He then signed with UFC that December, but was met with many setbacks. There were reports Punk wasn't doing well in training as well, but viewers can see for themselves in the documentary. Punk is set to make his UFC debut against Mickey Gall at UFC 203 on Sept. 10 in Cleveland.

Gall is 2-0 in the UFC and has a lot of fighting experience, while Punk will be taking part in the first MMA fight of his career. The former wrestler, however, recently said he believed he was evenly matched with Gall -- aside from experience.

As for Lee, she retired from the WWE shortly after WrestleMania 31 in March 2015, mostly due to the ongoing legal battle between her husband and the company's doctor, Chris Amann.

Punk blasted Dr. Amann and many WWE executives, claiming the physician misdiagnosed him on several occasions.. Dr. Amann countered with a defamation lawsuit against the former WWE Champion and Colt Cabana, whose podcast was the platform for the discussion.

Lee remained with the WWE for over a year after her husband quit, but she opted to walk away after the lawsuit came to light.

Now, viewers can see their journey by tuning into "Evolution of Punk" for each of the next four Mondays.
