Conor McGregor News: Ric Flair, Several WWE Superstars Blast UFC Figher After He Insults Pro Wrestling [PHOTOS, VIDEO]

Conor McGregor doesn't seem very interested in the crosspromotion between UFC and WWE.

The Irish MMA star created quite a stir when he ripped on professional wrestling, calling the WWE roster "messed up p--sies." UFC recently entered a crosspromotion with the WWE in which Vince McMahon's company allowed Brock Lesnar to return to the Octagon in exchange for the MMA promotion hyping SummerSlam.

"The Beast" defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in his first fight since 2011 via decision, but it is surrounded by controversy after Lesnar reportedly failed a USDA doping test. The former WWE and UFC heavyweight champion will next fight Randy Orton on Aug. 21 at SummerSlam live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Reports have surfaced that the WWE may bring back Ronda Rousey and has interest in utilizing UFC star Paige VanZant somewhere down the line.

McGregor, however, likely won't be brought in to the WWE anytime soon. The featherweight fighter created some buzz when he ripped on professional wrestling.

"For the most part, those WWE guys are p--sies, to be honest," McGregor said via MMAFighting.com. "They're messed up p--sies, if you ask me."

He then followed up by insulting the whole roster again on Twitter:

The pointed comments led to a Twitter rant from WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who hyped up WWE Superstar and No. 1 contender for Dean Ambrose's WWE Championship Dolph Ziggler:

Flair, a record 16-time World Champion, wasn't alone in reacting as several stars took to Twitter to acknowledge McGregor's words:

If the WWE and UFC really want to make this crosspromotion thing work, McGregor vs. the whole WWE locker room could be a great place to start.
