The eldest Rodgers brother has weighed on the perceived controversy within the family.
Aaron Rodgers' younger brother, Jordan, appeared on "The Bachelorette" this season and won the competition, proposing to JoJo Fletcher in the season finale. During the show, one of the focal points was a rift between Aaron and the rest of his family.
When Jordan took Fletcher home to meet his family, Aaron and his girlfriend, actress Olivia Munn, weren't there, adding fuel to the fire that the former Super Bowl champion's relationship with his family was fractured.
Luke Rodgers recently weighed in on this controversy, while sharing that his brother Jordan really did find love with Fletcher and that it wasn't just for television.
"It's something I really don't wanna talk about, guys," Luke told TMZ Sports. "I think it was just unfortunate that it became such a focal point of the show. I understand they were trying to create drama, but for it to be such a big part of the story arc, I just found disappointing."
Luke said bringing in the family drama took away from the whole point of the show.
"It really was about Jordan and about JoJo and about the other guys that were there and their experiences in trying to find love on TV," he said. "The fact that they kept bringing a private matter like that, and something that is hurtful to -- you know it hurts my family, I think it's pretty obvious in the way they talk to us and ask us about it during the show. It was just something that, I think the fact that Jordan had that dragged in repeatedly, even on the last night, was pretty unfortunate."
Since the show, rumors have swirled that the rift in the family could have something to do with Munn, but no one from the Rodgers clan has confirmed that.
On one episode this season, Fletcher came to Jordan's neighborhood and he was forced to explain why the Packers quarterback wasn't there.
"My middle brother won't be there," Jordan told Fletcher in the episode, according to the New York Post. "Like I said, I have a great relationship with my brother Luke. Me and Aaron really don't have much of a relationship."
Aaron has mainly stayed mum about the topic, but he addressed the issues when they were recently brought up -- all while keeping things private.
"I haven't seen the show, to be honest with you, so it hasn't really affected me a whole lot," Aaron said, according to WISN.com last month. "As far as those kinds of things go, I've always found that it's a little inappropriate to talk publicly about some family matters, so I'm just ... I'm not going to speak on those things. But I wish him well in the competition."
