Kobe Bryant Wife: Vanessa Bryant Helps Make Young Fan's Dreams Of Meeting 'Black Mamba' Come True [VIDEOS]

After a little Kobe Bryant fan missed his chance at meeting his idol, the "Black Mamba's" wife stepped in.

A young fan named Ayden was unable to meet his hero during the filming of a commercial at a recent event, but Vanessa Bryant was able to step up and make his dreams come true.

Vanessa got wind of a video surfacing online of Ayden crying and getting upset over not being able to meet Bryant at the event. The wife of the five-time NBA champion was then able to facilitate a meeting between the two sides and a video surfaced online of Ayden hanging out and playing some basketball with Kobe.

It was a very nice moment between the recently retired NBA star and his biggest little fan.

Bryant hung up his cleats after 20 years with the NBA -- all with the Lakers -- at the conclusion of this past season. He ended his tenure with five rings, a 2008 MVP Award, two NBA Finals MVP Awards and 18 All-Star appearances among multiple other accolades.

The "Black Mamba" finished his run with 33,643 points, an average of 25 points per game.

Many fans and pundits have wondered what Bryant's next move will be now that he's putting the NBA behind him. One popular theory is coaching, but as Vanessa's friend, singer Monica, pointed out earlier this year, it isn't only Kobe's decision.

"You have to ask Vanessa," Monica told TMZ. "The head lady in charge has to make that decision because it puts you right back at games, it puts you right back in your seat, cheering, screaming [and] going crazy and it puts you back to having to make everything better after a loss."

Bryant closed his career with a bang, attempting an NBA-record 50 shots and netting 60 points.

The future Hall of Famer won the NBA championship with the Lakers in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009 and 2010 -- giving each of his rings to his wife afterward.

He may be retired now, but Bryant isn't done doling out special moments to fans -- and he even has his wife to help him along the way.
