AJ Styles WWE Rumors: Company Not Giving Up On 'The Phenomenal One's' Future Despite Creative Direction [VIDEO]

The "Phenomenal One" may have a phenomenal future in WWE after all.

It appeared as though the WWE had given up on AJ Styles' push after he lost to Roman Reigns for the second consecutive pay-per-view and then fell to Kevin Owens this past Monday on "RAW."

Styles fell to Reigns at Payback on May 1 and then lost his rematch to him Sunday night at Extreme Rules in a No Holds Barred bout. He followed it up by losing another potential crack at the title in falling to Owens on the flagship show in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.

With the win, Owens joined the likes of Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose and two Superstars yet to be determined in the upcoming Ladder Match. Styles, meanwhile, is on the outside looking in.

Despite his recent string of losses, the WWE still has big plans for Styles, according to The Wrestling Observer. There has been no word on what is next for Styles, but it seems the WWE hasn't placed him on the backburner despite his recent creative direction.

Reigns has moved on as he will face the returning Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank on June 19 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Though Styles' next role is up in the air, there are many possibilities for the "Phenomenal One" going forward. With the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton returning, Styles could clash with one or both of them.

With two slots open in the Ladder Match, it's also possible he somehow gets a chance at redemption to end up in the bout where the winner is guaranteed a title shot at anytime of their choosing within the next year.

Though Styles failed to capture the richest prize in the game on both attempts, it seems the WWE isn't giving up on his push after acquiring the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
