Former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson claims in his new novel ex-wife and Hollywood actress Robin Givens tricked him into marrying her by lying about being pregnant, according to Sister to Sister magazine.
In his new memoir Undisputed Truth, Tyson writes the "Head of the Class" and "Boomerang" actress told him she was three months pregnant, leading them to wed in February of 1988.
"I...didn't know that Robin and her mother, Ruth [Roper Givens], had been on the prowl for a big Black celebrity for Robin since she graduated college," he wrote.
Tyson further claims he was an easy target for the pair given his low self-esteem and naivety. "My social skills consisted of putting a guy in a coma," he wrote.
Months after they were married, Tyson alleges Given told him she'd lost the baby and less than a year later the two were divorced, at which time he claims the mother-daughter duo demanded millions from him.
"She was supposedly three months pregnant when we got married. Now it was June and she hadn't gained a pound," he wrote. "So, the next thing I knew she was in bed and claimed she had miscarried our baby," Tyson shared.
At 20, Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champ in history to hold the WBC, WBA and IBF titles at the same time.
