Ohio State Football Coach Urban Meyer a Mike Ditka Impersonator? Tweet by Meyer's Wife Creates Illusion That He Dressed Up for Halloween

Urban Meyer is a lot of things - great college football coach is one.

Mike Ditka impersonator is not one.

While the Ohio State football coach prepares his unbeaten team for Saturday's game against Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., his wife caused a minor stir Thursday night with a photo she posted on her Twitter account.

Shelley Meyer tweeted a photo of a man impersonating former Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka with the caption, "Look who showed up at our house tonite!!! Recognize this guy?? #formercoach pic.twitter.com/Sf0380rW1e"

When some people responded that they thought the impersonator was none other than Urban Meyer, some media outlets ran with it and reported that Meyer was a pretty darn good Ditka.

And why wouldn't it be the Bowling Green/Utah/Florida/Ohio State coach? Earlier this week, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick dressed up as a pirate for a Halloween outing. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady dressed up as the Cowardly Lion, and Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew donned a Homey the Clown costume from "In Living Color" - the 1990s sketch comedy show featuring the Wayans brothers and a young Jim Carrey.

Alas, after one person guessed the impersonator was Urban Meyer, Shelly came clean and said it wasn't Urban Meyer about two hours after she posted the orginal photo. Apparently, that did not stop the rumors, so Shelly had to introduce another tweet:

"Ok so let's set the record straight. The guy dressed as MIKE DITKA is NOT Urban! It's a friend, jim He pulls it off perfectly-urb never could"

With the way Urban Meyer has turned Ohio State back into a national powerhouse, it's easy to believe he can do anything, including the Mike Ditka impersonation trick.

But if anyone would know whether Urban could pull it off, it would be his wife.
