WARRIORS vs ROCKETS Watch FREE Live Stream Online & Listen: NBA Playoffs Game 3 Live Coverage From Houston

The Warriors look to put a stranglehold on their best-of-seven, Round 1 series, while the Rockets hope a return home will get them going when these two collide for Game 3 at the Toyota Center in Houston.

Golden State took Game 1 of this series from Houston, 104-78, and then followed it up with a 115-106 victory in Game 2 on Monday. The Warriors will now look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead, while the Rockets hope a shift home can help them make this a series.

Klay Thompson had a game-high 34 points for the Warriors in Game 2, while Draymond Green paced the team with 14 rebounds and eight assists. James Harden led the Rockets with 28 points and 11 assists in the loss, while Dwight Howard notched 10 rebounds.

Steph Curry sat out Game 2, but played the role of cheerleader on the bench for Golden State. The reigning MVP practiced on Wednesday, but remains questionable for Game 3, and he seemed to doubt his availability.

"When Steph goes down, that's obviously not easy to replace, so not one guy's going to come out and do what Steph does for this team," Green said per ESPN. "Even if a guy comes out and gets 30, he's still not going to do what or bring what Steph brings to this team. He draws so much attention that he gets other people shots as well. ... I think we're the deepest team in the NBA."

The Rockets have plenty to worry about whether or not Curry plays as they've fallen to the Warriors 14 out of their last 15 meetings. Harden and Howard appeared to be arguing with each other during Game 2, but they downplayed it afterward.

"That wasn't jawing at each other. It was just emotion. It wasn't saying anything crazy to each other," Howard said per ESPN. "It might look like that, but we both want to win. It's emotional because we're playing basketball and we're trying not to go home. It was nothing bad."
