EPL Week 34 Scores, Table & Standings: Leicester City’s Lead Down to Five Points, Jamie Vardy Facing Ban

Leicester City are still on top of the English Premier League 2015-16 season table, but they are now just five points ahead of the Tottenham Hotspur in the title race.

Leicester City settled for a 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday at King Power Stadium, disappointing more than 32,000 fans who trooped to the home turf to watch their team try solidify their chances of winning the title.

The Foxes looked on their way to escaping with a 1-0 win after Jamie Vardy scored in the 18th minute of the match, but Andy Carroll netted the equalizer with a penalty in the 84th minute. Two minutes later, West Ham United took the lead with another goal from Aaron Cresswell.

Good thing for the Foxes, Leonardo Ulloa also scored off a penalty in extra time to force a draw and take a point from the game instead of losing all three points.

However, the Foxes' seven-point lead heading into Week 34 is now down to five points after second-placed Tottenham Hotspur ran away with a 4-0 win over Stoke City on Monday at Britannia Stadium. Harry Kane and Dele Alli both scored two goals apiece for Tottenham in the match.

Leicester City also absorbed a huge blow this week as Vardy will not play against Swansea City after getting a red card on Sunday. He could also be banned for their match against Manchester United on May 1 after FA charged the superstar with improper conduct for shouting at referee Jon Moss in their 2-2 draw with West Ham.
