Randy Orton Return 2016 WWE Rumors: 'Viper' Has 2 Opponents In Mind For When He Returns [VIDEO]

Randy Orton is nearing a return and he knows exactly what he wants to do when he makes his comeback to the squared circle.

"The Viper" has been sidelined with a shoulder injury, which he had surgically repaired in October. Orton has been rehabbing his shoulder injury, which has provided him with a lot of time to contemplate his next move in the squared circle.

There are plenty of Superstars who Orton can battle when he returns to the WWE ring, which reportedly could be as soon as this month. Though there are many choices, the "Apex Predator" narrowed his list down to two Superstars.

While making a Middle East Film and Comic Con appearance along with his wife and kids in Dubai over the weekend, Orton participated in a Q&A. The WWE Superstar revealed he is hoping to wrestle Sami Zayn and Finn Balor down the line when he returns, according to WrestlingInc.com.

The 12-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion said he prefers to work as a heel, which would help him in those feuds if they ever came to fruition. Orton reportedly said he enjoys being a villain because it's "fun to be hated," while being a babyface is "too easy."

Zayn is a more likely adversary since he's already made the jump to the main roster. The former NXT standout has already been given some high-profile exposure as he participated in the seven-man Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 32 on April 3.

He also was featured in a high-profile match this past week on "RAW," a bout he lost to AJ Styles.

As for Balor, he's more of a long shot as he is still in NXT, serving as the champion. Balor has held the belt since July 4 and while he's expected to eventually play an active role on the main roster, it'll take some time for that to happen.

While there's no guarantee Orton will feud with either Superstar, it would certainly give "The Viper" a fresh storyline to return to considering he's basically feuded with everyone given his veteran status.
