REDS vs CUBS Watch Live Stream Online & Listen: Opening Day For Wrigley Field, Live Coverage From Chicago

After several of Opening Day celebrations throughout baseball's first week, its time for the spotlight to shine on Wrigley Field as the Cubs host the Reds in their home-opener.

Cincinnati (5-1) is off to a hot start, having won two straight games and opens up a six-game road trip. Chicago (5-1) has matched their opponent's strong start to the season and has also won two straight games as it commences a six-game homestand.

Brandon Finnegan (0-0, 3.00 ERA) toes the rubber for the Reds, while the Cubs counter with Jon Lester (1-0, 1.29). Finnegan had nine strikeouts in six innings against the Phillies last time out. Leseter, meanwhile, struck out four over seven solid innings against the Angels to start his 2016.

Cincinnati took two of three games from the Pirates over the weekend, including a 2-1 victory over Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Jay Bruce drove in the game-winning run -- his ninth RBI of the season -- in the bottom of the ninth inning to provide the Reds with Sunday's walk off victory.

Chicago won two of three against Arizona over the weekend, which featured a 7-3 victory on Sunday. Though the club lost Kyle Schwarber for the season, its offense has been firing on all cylinders. Jake Arrieta hit a two-run homer in Sunday's victory, while Jorge Soler also went deep. Dexter Fowler (hip) may return to the lineup on Monday.

In what will mark the 101st opener in Wrigley Field history, the Cubs enter with a lot of energy.

"Everyone's excited -- I'm excited," shortstop Addison Russell told MLB.com.
