LeBron James Identity Crisis: Oldest Son Shooting Ball Like Steph Curry [VIDEO]

LeBron James Jr. could be having trouble identifying a role model. Or perhaps not.

The first-born son of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is forging out his own name in the game of basketball at the ripe old age of 11.

Space Jam Sequel Has Stalled Since LeBron James' Partnership With Warner Bros.

The NBAer said in a December interview with Sports Illustrated that both his sons, LeBron Jr. and 8-year-old Bryce won't wear dad's No. 23, via the Daily Oklahoman.

LeBron Jr.'s rationale is "because he doesn't want people to know who he is," his father said.

Kobe Bryant Says LeBron James Too Nice To Lead Cavaliers To Championship

LeBron Jr. wears No. 0 to be like Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook, and Bryce wears No. 30 in honor of Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.

But it's LeBron Jr., whose game seems to be shaping up as a Curry knockoff.

The eldest son is the subject of an Instagram video posted on Terez Owens, showing the 11-year-old hitting back-to-back half-court shots during a pregame warmup.

"Kind of ridiculous that all these kids are looking up to Steph Curry," Terez Owens reported. "Check out Bron Jr. showing off his half court range. Still only counts as 3. Steph Curry is great, but is he setting a great example for the next generation of players?"

That was exactly the point former Warriors coach and current ESPN NBA analyst Mark Jackson tried to make last year and was crushed for his comments, with some accusing him of lashing out based on sour grapes --- Golden State winning an NBA title a year after firing him.

But if LeBron's kids have his size in them, they could be the next generation of superstar players --- a player that can grow to be 6-foot-8, 260 pounds and do the things that Curry can do shooting-wise would be impossible to stop.
