Jalen Rose is now providing bold predictions to go with his NBA analysis.
Weeks after predicting Michael Jordan will come out of retirement to play at least one game with his Charlotte Bobcats this season, Rose is now saying Kevin Durant will join James Harden and Dwight Howard in Houston after his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder expires.
Rose added native sons Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love will then elect to join forces as members of the Los Angeles Lakers. Rose's predictions carry a measure of credibility in NBA circles, given he predicted Harden would be dealt from OKC to the Rockets before it happened and that Howard would chose to bolt L.A. and Kobe Bryant when the chance came.
Durant, Westbrook and Love can all become free agents over the next couple seasons and the NBA's scoring champ in two of the last three seasons is already on record in effusing his love of Harden.
Durant recently told reporters he felt Harden should be rated ahead of Dwayne Wade and NBA player ratings and the time has come for Wade "to pass the torch."
