Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant Feud Update: Gabrielle Union Says She Won't Fight D-Wade's Battles [VIDEO]

Gabrielle Union insists she has no plans to play the role of peacemaker between her boyfriend Dwyane Wade and fellow NBA star Kevin Durant.

Ever since Durant called Wade "overrated" and no longer deserving of his consensus Top 10 ranking among the league's best players several weeks ago, the two have waged a public dispute on social media which includes Wade vowing to "make Durant respect your place history... again."

Behind Wade and LeBron James the Heat dismantled the Thunder in the 2012 NBA Finals four games to one.

But in Durant's mind, that was then and now is now, as just days ago he told TMZ it was time for the 31-year-old Wade to "pass the torch."

TMZ reports Union jokingly insisted "I won't fight Dwyane's battles," as she made her way through LAX last weekend. The two teams square off when the Heat host the Thunder on Jan. 29.

Wade publicly recommitted himself to coming back healthy this season after an extended period of knee problems. For much of the summer, he worked with Tim Grover, the trainer famously linked to make Michael Jordan over the course of much of his legendary career.

Behind Wade and James, the Heat are seeking to become just the third NBA team over the last two decades (Jordan's 1996-98 Bulls and Kobe's Lakers 1999-02) to win a league three-peat.
