The Packers search for their 11th straight home victory despite injuries piling up while the Browns hope to start a new winning streak after their two-game streak was snapped last week in a 31-17 loss to the Detroit Lions.
The Packers featured rookie running back Eddie Lacy prominently after Randall Cobb and James Jones were hurt during last week's 19-17 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Lacy rushed for 120 yards in that triumph, and has rushed for 270 yards on 61 carries with a touchdown in his rookie season.
"When injuries happen, I look at it as you have to flip the page," coach Mike McCarthy said via ESPN. "It's like anything in life, are you going to cry about it or are you going to look at it as an opportunity to improve?
Cobb (knee) joins linebacker Nick Perry (foot) and Clay Matthews (broken thumb) on the injured list while James Jones (leg) and linebacker Brad Jones (hamstring) may be able to play.
The Packers have been excited by their ability to run the ball thus far this season.
"I'm happy where the run game is, but I'm excited about where it can go," McCarthy said per ESPN. "There are things we've laid out for the run game we haven't tapped into, yet, and that's exciting also."
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has a completion percentage of 64.1% while compiling 1,646 yards with 10 touchdowns and four interceptions so far this season. One of his go-to targets has been Jordy Nelson who has four touchdowns and 27 receptions for 484 yards.
The Browns saw their winning streak come to an end thanks to an ill-advised pass by Brandon Weeden that was picked off and sealed Detroit's victory last week. Weeden has more picks (5) than touchdowns (4) thus far on the season while going 86-for-153 for a completion percentage of 56.2%.
Despite two interceptions in the game, the Browns are standing by Weeden.
"It's never just about one play or person to assign blame," Browns coach Rob Chudzinski told ESPN. "We all can be better."
The Browns hope to keep receiver Josh Gordon going as he has 25 receptions for 429 yards and two scores in four games this season.
Green Bay looks for its 11th home win in a row while Cleveland hopes to bounce back from last week's loss when these two teams take the field at Lambeau Field this afternoon.
