Chicharito News: Javier Hernandez Outperformed Marco Fabian On Saturday [VIDEO]

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Marco Fabian flew the Mexican flag in Germany on Saturday. Well, at least Hernandez did.

Fabian struggled in his first start for Eintracht Frankfurt.

Liverpool Desperate To Sign Chicharito

Hernandez continued his scintillating form for Bayer Leverkusen. The 27-year-old scored 12th and 13th league goal of the season. He now boasts 21 goals for the club across all competitions.

Perhaps more importantly, Bayer secured a 3-0 victory, lifting them to fourth in the Bundesliga table.

Chicharito Was Right To Leave Manchester United

Fabian wasn't a wash in Frankfurt's scoreless draw with Augsburg, but he wasn't brilliant, either.

The 26-year-old completed just 73 percent of his passes in the hole behind Alexander Meier and was dispossessed three times, per WhoScored. He was substituted off in the 89th minute for Aleksandar Ignjovski, but not before missing his best chance of the afternoon.

On the positive side, this was his second consecutive appearance for the club. It doesn't appear he'll be riding the pine, as most North American players tend to do in Europe.

Both players return to the pitch on Saturday. Hernandez will feature in a pivotal showdown against Bayern Munich, while Fabian battles VfB Stuttgart.
