Adrian Peterson Son Dies: AP Never Stiffed Mom Of Other Child On Child Support, Sought To Spend More Time With Son [VIDEO]

Adrian Peterson has always paid child support to the Dallas stripper he shares a child with, proving that at least some of the claims the woman made in an interview with TMZ earlier this week are false.

Legal documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Erica Syion filed court papers in April accusing the NFL star of holding out on more than $50,000 in unpaid child support and other bills for their four-year-old son.

The woman also told TMZ Peterson only settled the outstanding debts in September, but the website now reports court documents prove Peterson has dutifully "paid child support in the amount of $2,500 a month since 2009."

Source also tell TMZ the court order, which determined the amount of support he was to pay, did not require him to pay tuition and travel expenses for the child, but when Syion raised those issues Peterson agreed to oblige.

According to TMZ, court papers also reveal Peterson has previously petitioned the court for the right to spend more time with his son.

Peterson, the NFL's reigning MVP, is still in mourning after burying another son, two-year-old Tyrese Robert Ruffin, on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Tyrese Ruffin died last week after succumbing to injuries he suffered in an alleged aggravated assault that occurred in his South Dakota home. Police have since charged Joseph Robert Patterson, his mother's 27-year-old boyfriend, and he is being held on $750,000 bond.
