Miami Heat New Rivalry? Dwyane Wade: Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett 'Bad Blood Transfers To Nets' [VIDEO]

With Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry now all in Brooklyn, Dwyane Wade tells NESN.com he expects the heated rivalry his NBA champion Miami Heat once shared with the Boston Celtics to simply shift further south.

When asked how he and LeBron James anticipate matching up against the revamped Nets, whose rotation also features Deron Williams, Joe Johnson and Brooks Lopez, Wade told NESN "the bad blood with the Celtics will transfer well to the Nets."

With Miami seeking to become just the third NBA team over the last two decades to accomplish a three-peat (Michael Jordan's Bulls, 1996-99 and Kobe and Shaq's Lakers 1999-2002), the Heat don't figure to have any shortage of competition this season.

That was motivation enough for Wade to recommit himself to the mission this summer, inspire him to team up with famed Jordan trainer Tim Grover and pick up a program to re-strengthen his surgically repaired knees as much as humanly possible.

"I'm not done yet," Wade told reporters at the time of his announcement. "I've still got more in the tank. Like I said, my focus is just to make sure physically I can do the things I need to do. My skills haven't diminished by no stretch of the imagination. You lose something as you get older, when it comes to athleticism but you don't lose your game."
