Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino continued her dominance in the Invicta FC featherweight division after hacking out an impressive KO finish over challenger Daria Ibragimova at the Hangar at the Orange County Fair for Invicta FC 15.
Ibragimova appeared headed toward achieving something previous challengers were unable to do -- that is to last more than one round against Cyborg.
But when the 10-second clack came, Cyborg went on the offensive and pounced on the challenger. The fight was eventually stopped with 4:58 as Justino notched her 15th straight win.
Justino has not lost since 2005 and has been featherweight champion since 2013. The fight with the debuting Russian challenger was her third title-defense.

With that done and settled, it remains to be seen what Cyborg plans next. UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm has been mentioned, but Justino made it clear that she has no intention of dropping to the 135-pound mark.
“No more 135. Superfight? Yeah. I think that's fair," Cyborg said via MMA Fighting. "Somebody can go up a little bit, I'll go down a little bit. ... Of course I want to make the fights nice for the fans, but I don't want to do something to make my life terrible,
Recall that Cyborg had wanted to face Ronda Rousey prior to the latter’s shocking loss at UFC 193 last year. But to make that happen, she was required to trim down to 135.
But with Rousey no longer the champion, all that flak about the catchweight may have gone down the drain with it.
For now, it will be interesting if Justino will be lined up against Holm in the coming year. Holm will defend her title against Miesha Tate on Mar. 5 at UFC 197.
