Russell Westbrook can play for 15 minutes and still be more productive than Derrick Rose in an entire game. As hyperbolic as that sounds, Westbrook proved it on Wednesday.

The PG -- along with Charlie Villanueva -- was ejected in the second quarter of the Thunder’s 108-89 victory over the Mavericks. Westbrook took exception to a foul committed by Mavs guard J.J. Barea.
It all went downhill from there.

Westbrook wasn't interested in addressing the confrontation following the game.
Ejection aside, the most impressive part of all this was Westbrook’s ability to impact the game in a mere 15 minutes.
The Thunder were plus-19 in that stretch, further solidifying his place in NBA Real Plus-Minus. Westbrook leads the league in that category (plus-10.48). Rose is 426th out of 429 (minus-5.51).
It’s a good thing for him that Norris Cole (minus-5.76), Jahlil Okafor (minus-5.85) and Emmanuel Mudiay (minus-5.98) are still in the league.
