Johnny Manziel Rumors: Even Former Friend LeBron James Doesn't Want To be Associated With Johnny Football Anymore [VIDEO]

Johnny Manziel’s 2015 season has ended about as badly as possible, and while the Browns may drop him soon, his friends have already started. LeBron James’ agency has dumped Johnny Football as a client, likely speeding up his exit from Cleveland’s consciousness.

Manziel, a first-round pick in 2013 ahead of Teddy Bridgewater, the starting quarterback for the NFC North champion Vikings, has shown flashes of competence in his sporadic opportunities to play. He’s shown much more immaturity though, finding himself in messy situations involving alcohol on at least four occasions this year.

Manziel Actually Wore A Wig Disguise To Party In Vegas

Manziel was pulled over by police for arguing with his girlfriend while he was driving, eventually admitting to cops he had two drinks before driving. Police eventually determined he was not intoxicated. Manziel was benched a few weeks later for partying and drinking on the team’s bye week, which was caught on video. Soon after that, Manziel was recorded partying again, with a can of Four Loko in his hand.

The last straw broke this week, when Manziel reportedly missed a meeting with team doctors related to his concussion protocol. Manziel is rumored to have been partying in Las Vegas – not great for someone recovering from a concussion – and going as far as donning a blonde wig and mustache to avoid recognition. All of this comes after spending the last offseason in rehab.

DeMarco Murray More Likely To Be A Cowboy Than Johnny Football

James commented on LRMR’s decision to part ways with Manziel, who at one point said James had been a helpful mentor for him.

“It's just a distraction for not only himself, but for everyone that's around him, including family, people that represent him, the people that are around him. And he'll figure it out at some point. We all hope,” James said.

Maverick Carter, James’ agent, said he still considered Manziel a friend. "I will continue to support and advise him as a friend," Carter said. "However, because Johnny needs to focus on personal growth, the next phase of his career and because LRMR continues to expand beyond marketing, we made the mutual decision that it was best to terminate our business relationship."

The Browns, who fired their head coach and GM this week, may terminate their business relationship with him as well. If Manziel does not stop drinking so publicly, his football career could be over far earlier than anyone expected.
