Ronda Rousey Update: Racy Sports Illustrated Photo Proves 'Rowdy' Doesn't Need The UFC Anymore [VIDEO]

Ronda Rousey finally lost in 2015, and she did so in stunning fashion, by getting knocked out cold by a huge underdog named Holly Holm. Despite the Mike Tyson-esque upset, Rousey’s Q-rating has not suffered a hit.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion remains the most buzzworthy UFC fighter, despite former pound-for-pound king Jon Jones being reinstated and rising star Conor McGregor actually winning his latest title fight. And she’s still wanted by “Sports Illustrated,” for a prime spot in their next swimsuit issue.

Rousey's Nutritionist Fears For Her Safety In A Rematch vs. Holm

This hasn’t been confirmed, but based on some well-placed tattoos, it appears Rousey is the next athlete to don some body paint.

Even though she lost, Rousey still gets dibs over Holm (although the “Preacher’s Daughter” may balk at the racy gig), Paige VanZant, or Miesha Tate. That’s because she remains UFC’s biggest icon, a remarkable feat for a woman in a world that has until now been completely dominated by men.

Rousey’s in demand for more than her looks too. She scored acting gigs in “The Expendables 3” and “Furious 7” in 2015, and losing didn’t jeopardize her roles in an upcoming “Roadhouse” remake or her starring in a documentary based on her autobiography. Later this month Rousey will also be hosting Saturday Night Live, a spot typically reserved for only the highest caliber of athletes.

SNL Gig Won't Help Rousey Defeat Holly Holm

The jury is out on whether all these outside interests will interfere with her ability to remain an upper-echelon MMA competitor, but what she’s already achieved has allowed her to endure as a celebrity. Maybe she’ll lose again vs. Holm, or maybe she’ll simply retire. But her ability to stay in the limelight is almost as impressive as her fighting resume.
