Denver Broncos Rumors: Peyton Manning Played His Last Game With The Broncos [VIDEO]

Peyton Manning threw four INTs against the Chiefs in Week 10. Little did we know it'd be the last time he took the field as the starting QB of the Broncos.

Manning will be active for Sunday's game against the Raiders, but has been benched in favor of Brock Osweiler. He isn't expected to be 100 percent healthy the rest of the season, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, via NFL.com.

Time For Peyton Manning To Consider Retirement

This is officially Osweiler's team.

"Peyton, not at full health -- may night be at full health throughout the entire season -- is going to back up Brock and in case they need him, in case there is an epic disaster at quarterback, Peyton Manning could step in," Rapoport said. "But this is Brock Osweiler's team going forward, something Gary Kubiak made clear this week, based 1) on his play, especially in crunch time, and 2) that they do not think Peyton Manning can take the full reps necessary to be the starting quarterback this season."

Peyton Manning Accused Of Using PEDs To Recover From Neck Surgery

For the Broncos, it's a best-case scenario.

Osweiler showed immense maturation in Week 16's OT victory over the Bengals. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, the 25-year-old engineered two different game-winning drives.

Brandon McManus was just only able to convert the FG in OT.

A Super Bowl contender, John Elway and the Broncos played their hand. Entrusting Osweiler with this much at stake means -- barring a catastrophic injury -- this is his team in 2015 and beyond.
