WWE 'Wrestlemania 32' Rumors: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson May Be Suiting Up In Dallas After All [POLL, VIDEO]

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was already confirmed as appearing at Wrestlemania 32, though the immediate conclusion was that he wouldn't wrestle.

However, there could be new developments with word that the Rock wants to be more actively linked with the WWE to try and help the company attain a record-breaking attendance by filling up the AT&T Stadium.

Bold Predictions For The WWE In 2016

To make that happen, the Rock will need to do more than just appear at the WWE extravaganza. He may end up donning his old tights and being in a match, though it remains to be seen who he can lock up with.

Seeing the Rock compete hit a snag due to insurance issues tied up with the movie studio he is connected with. But from the looks of it, Wrestlingnews.co believes that a compromise has been ironed out which could allow the actor/wrestler to figure in a match.

WWE Superstars Who Had The Best 2015's

Among the previous names that were linked to the Rock included Triple H and Brock Lesnar. Triple H is bound to be at the WWE spectacle, though nothing has been made official for now. The belief is that he would be fighting the Rock’s cousin, Roman Reigns, as payback for the attack that the WWE COO suffered at WWE TLC.

If this should be the route, the Rock could get involved in the match and make it a tag team affair. Alternatively, he could come in at some of the shows leading to WrestleMania 32 and maybe make a save for his cousin after which he and 'The Gamme" would come face-to-face.

Lesnar is another potential opponent, though if that insurance issue comes up again, the risks could be higher. Lesnar has brute strength that could do some damage, which is something that the movie studio is trying to avoid. While injuries can be avoided, a match with Triple H seems to be the lesser risk.

A safer route would see the Rock partake in a tag team match. A potential tag bout pitting The Rock and UFC's Ronda Rousey against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon was teased last year.

Again that would depend on the UFC and Rousey. Though the landscape has changed, Rousey is still in recovery mode and licking her wounds after that beating at the hands of Holly Holm. Like Johnson, injuries are something that Dana White and the UFC want to avoid, though the push is something that could place Rousey back in the limelight.
