John Cena, Nikki Bella Relationship Rumors: Christmas Spent Together Shows Couple Is Ready For Next Step [PHOTO, VIDEO]

John Cena and Nikki Bella rang in the holidays together and now that they're sharing Christmas traditions with one another, it's time for the couple to take their relationship to the next level.

The 15-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion has yet to get down on one knee and propose to the WWE Diva, but it seems like things are headed in the right direction for the two of them. It's understandable that the couple doesn't want to rush into marriage, especially given their past experiences with tying the knot.

Still, Bella has made no secret of her goal to become Mrs. Cena and have children with the "Cenation" leader.

It appears things are going smoothly for the WWE's power couple as Cena appeared on "The Today Show" on Monday and revealed the Christmas traditions the two have shared.

WWE RAW Rumors, Preview & Storylines To Watch For

"I'm kind of adopting Christmas traditions from my better half," Cena told the show's hosts. "She has a big, extensive family and they do a giant dinner celebration to the theme of the [Little] Drummer Boy every year."

Cena said it was an important celebration, but this year, he brought Bella home to his own family, a celebration which included a photo the couple shared on Instagram.

"I had some time to spend with my own family and of course the person I love the most," Cena said. "We had a beautiful day up in West Newbury, Massachusetts, and the weather was exceptional. ...She got dropped in the Cena pool for Christmas [and] with five boys it's a pretty dangerous pool. She did great."

With Bella adapting to Cena's lifestyle, perhaps it's time for them to take their relationship up a notch. Though no engagement occurred this holiday season, it's quite apparent that Cena and Bella are madly in love with each other and could someday soon tie the knot.
