UFC Rumors 2015: Anderson Silva Already Has Plans Past Michael Bisping [VIDEO]

Anderson Silva is slated to make yet another UFC return once his current suspension runs out by Jan. 31, 2016.

He is set to face Michael Bisping for UFC Fight Night 83 at the O2 Arena on Feb. 27, 2016, something confirmed no less by UFC president Dana White.

At the age of 40, not all are convinced that the “Spider” may have a lot left in the tank. Just the same, Silva seems pretty confident against Bisping and has set his sights as far as another possible shot at the title.

“It’s been a while since I fought in London for the last time, and I’m really excited to be back. I believe this is going to be a big test so I can come back and go after a title shot,” Silva said via UFC.com.

It remains to be seen how conditioned Silva is first against Bisping. “The Count” is heading into the fight riding on a back-to-back wins,  but has yet to prove he can stand up to world-class opponents. One thing working for him at UFC Fight Night 83 though is that he will be fighting right in front of his hometown per Bleacher Report.

Assuming he does manage to get past Bisping, Silva will have to undergo a rigid path towards the UFC Middleweight title currently held by Luke Rockhold.

And that could include having to fight to fellow Brazilians like Yoel Romero, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, Vitor Belfort and Lyoto Machida.

Of that mix, Silva holds close ties with Souza and Machida. But it seems that friendship takes a back seat when the stakes are high.

“Jacare is my friend, Lyoto is my friend. But all the time, [those] guys don’t talk the same as me,” Silva said via conference call via MMA News.

From the looks of it, Silva will need to consider going up against his friends and some fellow Brazilians. And the way he put it, he will stop at nothing to try and get back to the top.
