Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah has signed a new endorsement deal with Adidas, according to ProBasketballTalk.com.
"Joakim has demonstrated the work ethic, passion and attitude that make him a perfect fit for the adidas brand," Chris Grancio, adidas head of global basketball sports marketing, said in a released statement. "When you watch him play, his competitiveness and love of the game is contagious on the court and we're excited to partner with him as he enters the prime of his career."
Noah joins teammates Derrick Rose, Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler as part of the adidas family , as well as fellow NBA stars Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan and Damian Lillard.
Noah bas battled with bouts of plantar fasciitis in recent years, and the hope is now being on the adidas brand may be able to aid him is suffering a recurrence of the injury. Noah has yet to play in either of the team's first two preseason games and the Bulls have already openly discussed the idea of having him play less minutes this season in added hopes of preventing another flareup.
Noah had been with French shoe maker Le Coq Sportif since 2007.
