New England Patriots Rumors: Jets Players Already Know They Can't Beat Tom Brady On Sunday [VIDEO]

The Jets travel to New England to face the Patriots on Sunday. They already lost.

Calvin Pace -- who's been with the Jets since 2008 -- knows what awaits Gang Green. Having witnessed Tom Brady's greatness for eight seasons, the 35-year-old is all but waving the white flag.

"He shouldn't [retire]," Pace said of Brady on Wednesday, via ESPN staff writer Rich Cimini, per NESN. "He's done a great job for a long time. Hopefully, he gets traded at some point in time.

"Trade him to the NFC somewhere."

J.J. Watt Should Sign With The Patriots If He Wants To Be The Next LT

Trade him to the NFC so maybe the Jets could finally remember what winning the AFC East feels like.

New York's last division crown came in 2002, and it only came via a tiebreaker. It was also the only time the Jets were able to keep Brady out of the playoffs. Matt Cassel was under the helm when the Patriots missed out in 2008.

It hasn't been pretty for New York during Brady's tenure, either.

Unfortunately for Pace and the rest of the AFC East, Brady won't be traded to the NFC and he's not showing any signs of slowing down.

At least we all know who to blame.

"Blame Shaun Ellis," Pace joked, via NJ.com's Darryl Slater. "If Shaun didn't get that hit on the sideline [on Drew Bledsoe in 2001], they might have somebody else at quarterback.

"But things happen like that sometimes."
