Adrien Broner, Manny Pacquiao Rumors: Pacman Fight Will Be Ruined By Broner's Gun Problem [VIDEO]

Adrien “The Problem” Broner recently said that Manny Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz reached out about a possible fight in April that is likely to be the final bout of Pacquiao’s career. Right now, the alternative for Broner looks like 35-year-old Ashley Theophane, a shopworn veteran fighter in Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s “Money Team” stable.

One would think Broner, who isn’t known for making great decisions, would mind his p’s and q’s and ensure he doesn’t’ screw up an opportunity like this. Especially a man who says he’s “About Billion.” Millions of dollars are at stake when it comes to fighting Pacquiao, or fighting Theophane. So the Instagram video Broner posted on Monday is idiotic at best, and scary at worst.

Adrien Broner Claims Manny Pacquiao Is Reaching Out For His Final Fight

The post has been taken down, but TMZ quoted his caption which read, "since nobody want to help me be in a better place in life I'm back on my bull sh*t F*CK EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY!!!!!! #GANGINTHISBITCH #AboutBullets."

For someone who says he is “about billions,” Broner likely cost himself millions. His name value is not what it used to be; Broner was once a rising, unbeaten star who looked headed for a possible date vs. Mayweather. He was derailed by a humiliating loss to Marcos Maidana, in which he was knocked down twice. He rebounded with three wins over B-level opposition, and then was routed by former champion Shawn Porter in a return to big-time opponents.

Broner Calls Mayweather A 'F**k Boy' And Questions His Loyalty

Broner is just 25, but he’s unpopular with fans, and unlike Mayweather, there’s no intrigue to him losing anymore. Fighting Pacquiao would do much more for him than it would for Pacquiao, and Broner is not a slam dunk option. Especially if he’s going to wave around automatic weapons on social media as a father of five. Broner proved he is not beyond his worst habits, and he can expect to be passed over for the biggest payday of his career.
