Conor McGregor Next Fight: Rafael Dos Anjos Awaits 'The Notorious' [POLL, VIDEO]

Rafael dos Anjos has probably heard of Conor McGregor’s plans to move up to lightweight, and he is primed and ready.

Dos Anjos gave "The Notorious" a glimpse of things to come when he defeated Donald Cerrone at "UFC on Fox 17" Saturday in Orlando, Fla. And while that conquest is still fresh, the UFC lightweight champion is ready to return to the Octagon with McGregor obviously on his mind.

“Conor McGregor said that he wanna come to my division. I think it’s not gonna be a smart decision for him, but if he wanna come, I will be happy to welcome him,” said dos Anjos via Yahoo Sports.

McGregor is also fresh from an impressive 13-second win over Jose Aldo at UFC 194 and it was after that where he revealed plans of possibly moving up to the lightweight division. But Dos Anjos thinks that it may be a bad idea.

“We are not even on the same division," he said. "He is featherweight; I am lightweight. But if he come, I will be here."

McGregor has never been known to back down from a challenge, so a response should be coming out soon.

Though McGregor plans to move up a division, he made it clear that he will not vacate the UFC featherweight title. Frankie Edgar could be his next opponent, though an immediate rematch with Jose Aldo is being pushed for by the Brazilian and some UFC stars.
