The Dallas Cowboys' decision-making is a little slow, but better late than never.
Owner Jerry Jones hinted during a radio interview that Dallas may give backup quarterback Kellen Moore some playing time if the situation warrants it during their Week 15 matchup against the New York Jets, according to USA Today Sports.

"More than likely, your game will dictate how they play, and if there is any playing time there for Kellen," Jones said Friday on local KRLD-FM radio in Dallas, via USA Today Sports. "Obviously that's Jason (Garrett's) call, decision and read. ... The game will dictate how he is used."
Hint, hint.
NFC East Title Still Possibility For 4-9 Cowboys
Moore did take first-team reps with the team in practice this week, the publication added.
The reason against using Moore is the fact that the Cowboys still have some semblance of a chance to win the NFC East if they can somehow manage to win out and finish the season at 7-9.
They hold the tiebreakers against the rest of the teams in the division and if no one finishes at .500, the Cowboys could sneak in and claim a playoff berth. Realistically, however, Dallas has to believe its chances in the playoffs --- even with an improbable, three-games in hand --- are slim in advancing past the NFC Wild-Card round.
And while Jones said the decision belongs to Garrett, the Cowboys' head coach, the fact that the owner brought up Moore's name very well could be an indirect directive for Garrett to give Moore a look to see whether he can play in the NFL.
Moore had a 50-3 collegiate record at Boise State, and the Cowboys have yet to find a successor for Tony Romo, who will be 36 next season and whose injuries continue to mount. Jones, however, also recently said that he expects Romo to be the team's quarterback for multiple years to come.
Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan worked with Moore for two years in Detroit and knows the quarterback nderstands his scheme.
"There's no bigger believer in Kellen Moore than myself," Linehan said. "There's probably a few guys back in Boise and some guys back in Detroit that already know that. But I believe in him."
Unless the Cowboys offense magically starts to click in the first half against the Jets, Moore should have the last 2 ½ games to show Dallas what he can do.
