Paige WWE Rumors: Back-To-Back Losses To Charlotte Puts Paige On The Ropes In Divas Division [POLL, VIDEO]

After it seemed like her heel turn would give her some momentum, Paige may now be on the outside looking in when it comes to possible contenders for the Divas Championship.

Since going full-blown heel, the Norwich, England native has lost two high-profile pay-per-view bouts to Charlotte, neither which exactly stole the show. The chemistry between the two Divas may be a little off and with the WWE having Paige tap out at Survivor Series only to lose again -- albeit via cheating -- at TLC, it means a new contender may emerge.

Projected Royal Rumble Card

It may not be a bad thing, considering the two big matches between Paige and Charlotte left a lot to be desired. With Paige suffering another loss, the division is wide open.

Here are three ladies who could breakout as the next No. 1 contender for Charlotte's gold.

WWE RAW Rumors & Preview

1) Becky Lynch

The WWE has already planted the seeds for this bout by having Charlotte play a quasi-heel in her match with her friend on RAW a few weeks ago. It seemed logical that the WWE would thrust Lynch into the Charlotte-Paige equation at TLC on Sunday, but it never happened. Perhaps the creative team was saving a Lynch and Charlotte rivalry for the long buildup to the Royal Rumble and with about six weeks to turn Charlotte into a complete heel, this could be an interesting potential program.

2) Sasha Banks

"The Boss" has been marginalized for much of her main roster WWE run thus far, but she's quietly been racking up wins as of late, including a victory over Lynch on the TLC pre-show. The WWE hasn't utilized Banks to the amazing potential she's shown time and time again in NXT, but hopefully soon she'll be given the proper run toward the top of the division that she deserves. Banks is a tremendous in-ring talent, a good talker and has a great heel gimmick, so maybe around WrestleMania time she'll finally get her chance to shine.

3) Nikki Bella

It's uncertain when she'll return, but the longest WWE Divas Champion in history revealed over the weekend that she's close to mounting a comeback from her neck injury. When she returns, it only makes sense that she'll seek out another run with the Divas division's top prize. Charlotte ended Bella's record 301-day reign atop the division at Night of Champions and defeated her in their subsequent rematch at Hell in a Cell, but when she returns, there is still plenty of unfinished business between the two ladies.
