Cincinnati Bengals Rumors: TE Tyler Eifert Asking For Too Much This Holiday Season [VIDEO]

The Bengals have a lot to be thankful this holiday season, but it’s still not enough for Tyler Eifert.

At 10-2, Cincinnati sits comfortably atop the NFC North -- the Steelers (7-5) enter Sunday a full three games back in the division. Eifert -- who was drafted by the Bengals in 2013 -- is enjoying a career year.

The 25-year-old has already set career highs in receptions (46), yards (522) and TDs (12). His 12 TDs also happen to lead the NFL.

It still doesn’t tickle Eifert’s fancy. The pass-catching TE wants more.

Turns Out John Harbaugh Was Right

Never mind the fact that a grown man is uncomfortably sitting on Santa’s lap, but a Super Bowl ring?

How about a playoff victory first?

Even at 10-2, there are still doubts surrounding the Bengals and it has everything to do with their recent playoff history.

Since Marvin Lewis took over as head coach in 2003, the Bengals have featured in six playoff games.

They lost all six.

Even worse, Cincinnati failed to reach 20 points in each of them. The most the team was able to muster was 17 points against the Steelers in 2005.

There’s nothing wrong with wishful thinking, but even Santa Claus couldn’t help Eifert and company. He delivers gifts, not miracles.
