With just six nights until WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, the company presents one final edition of RAW to build up the pay-per-view and WWE Network special.
Craziest TLC Matches In History
This edition of RAW finds the WWE at the Coliseum in North Charleston, S.C., as it makes its way toward Boston's TD Garden for Sunday's event. The WWE is in need of a big boost in ratings as it continues to struggle and with just six nights until TLC, it'll be all hands on deck.
Here are five things to watch for on RAW this week.
Kevin Owens vs. Brock Lesnar Is Best For Business
1) United We Stand
The feud between WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus and the No. 1 contender Roman Reigns took an interesting turn last week. The Ireland-born "Celtic Warrior" teamed up with Mexico native Alberto Del Rio, Bulgaria's Rusev and the England-hailing Bad News Barrett to form a new WWE stable, the League of Nations. Reigns, meanwhile, has joined forces with Dean Ambrose and The Usos, but it's just too bad the Survivor Series was last month.
Reigns and Sheamus are continuing to build toward their Tables, Ladders and Chairs match on Sunday. There are rumors that Kevin Owens may join Sheamus' stable to represent Canada, according to Wrestlingheadlines.com. Then again, maybe not, considering Owens' Twitter war of words with Sheamus this weekend:
2) Midcard Madness
Speaking of Owens, he's getting set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Ambrose at TLC. The former NXT Champion missed last week's show due to being sick, but he is expected to return this week. Del Rio, meanwhile, appears earmarked for a United States Championship bout with Jack Swagger, likely in a Chairs Match. Del Rio was attacked by a fan in Mexico this weekend while working for WWC:
3) ECW! ECW! ECW!
Tommy Dreamer made a shocking return to the WWE last week by helping The Dudley Boyz thwart off The Wyatt Family. Though the babyfaces received some back up, they're still outnumbered 4-3. There has been speculation that another ECW Original could come to even the odds and Bubba Ray Dudley is already fueling the speculation:
4) A Flair For Drama
The WWE has continued to tease a possible heel turn for Charlotte after she cheated to win against Becky Lynch last week. The daughter of Ric Flair is now in a feud with the babyface Lynch while simultaneously warring with the heel Paige. It's possible all three get booked into a match together at TLC for the Divas Championship.
"We're seeing a different side of Charlotte lately, and it's not one that agrees with the Divas Champion's longtime friend, Becky Lynch," WWE.com wrote further teasing a rift between the two ladies.
5) New Day ... Screwed?
The reigning WWE Tag Team Champions, The New Day, are set to defend the belts in a Triple Threat Ladder Match against The Usos and The Lucha Dragons this Sunday. The trio of Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods has tried to get out of the defense, so it will be interesting to see what tricks they have up their sleeves this week.
