Sasha Banks WWE Rumors: WWE Hall Of Famer Rightfully Blasts Stagnant Divas Revolution [VIDEO]

The Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch match was a microcosm of all the issues with the Divas Revolution. None of the blame falls on the ladies.

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley, who is never shy about criticizing the company when he sees fit, took notice of the poor direction the women's division is currently heading in. Banks and Lynch, who tore the house down in NXT together when given the proper time to tell a good story, were given very limited time to compete against each other this week on RAW.

Possible Outcomes To Reigns vs. Sheamus At TLC

The Hardcore Legend laid into the WWE for misusing the two Divas and even went as far as to say he's "disappointed" in how little time they were given on the company's flagship show.

Disappointing is an appropriate word to describe the Divas Revolution in general. The WWE has at least made some strides after lumping all of the Divas together by having the PCB stable disband and turning Paige into a heel.

Paige's Heel Momentum Spoiled At Survivor Series

It seemed like things were heading into a positive direction with Paige's heel turn and after Charlotte won the Divas Championship from Nikki Bella, but thus far the WWE keeps falling into the same old traps.

The company needs to start giving its ladies some time to shine, especially with RAW being a three-hour show. Good storylines are also needed for the ladies, but things took an even darker turn when Paige was booked to drag Charlotte's deceased brother Reid Flair into their feud last week, an angle which was quickly dropped by the WWE.

When Paige needed momentum for her heel turn, the WWE had her job to Natalya by tapping out and then she tapped out again to Charlotte at Survivor Series. This is just counterproductive storytelling.

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks had awesome matches with everyone under the sun in NXT, yet they are afterthoughts on the main roster.

As a matter of fact, after Banks stole the show with Bayley at back-to-back NXT events, she was mostly lost in the shuffle on the main roster and rarely used at all. It's a head-scratcher and with Nikki Bella working her way back from injury, there hast to be some concern that the ladies of NXT will get further sauntered down the pecking order in the Divas ranks.

The Divas Revolution has been a whole lot of hype, but if the WWE would give these ladies time to show what they can do and break out from the pack, it may truly become revolutionary for women's wrestling.
