LSU News: Les Miles Out; Jimbo Fisher In? [VIDEO]

If reports out of Baton Rouge are true, LSU head coach Les Miles days are numbered, especially after being blown out for the third week in a row, this time by Ole Miss, 38-17.

After the game, Miles himself looked as if he knew his time was up by the way he talked about arriving at LSU 11 years ago, he sounded and looked like a beaten man.

It's been a hard road for Miles the last few years and it has taken it's toll on him and the LSU fan base that wants him gone. It's not that they don't like Miles, it's more like they don't like the fact that he is unwilling to change his style to win ball games.

Over the past few years, Miles has changed offensive and defensive coordinators with the same results; no national championships or SEC titles, and the brass at LSU has had enough too.

Rumors are according to SB Nation, the boosters at LSU are ready to buy out Miles' contract and go after Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Fisher used to be an assistant under Alabama head coach Nick Saban who once coached the Tigers.

"Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is the main target for many foundation members; with names like Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney, TCU head coach Gary Patterson and even former NFL coach Jon Gruden being tossed around as well."

More than likely, a decision on Miles will not be made until the end of the season, which will be next week, but it may take longer than that with bowl season starting in a few weeks and with a few names on this list who may be involved in the national championship hunt.

But if these rumors are true, it's going to be sad to see the Mad Hatter go.
