The 9-0 Warriors continue to make history with each passing game, but reigning MVP Steph Curry is finding himself on the hunt for something even bigger than him in the history books.
Curry is currently 45th on the NBA's all-time 3-pointer list. With just 11 more 3s, Curry will find himself ahead of the 42nd-ranked player. That man happens to be his father, Dell Curry.
Golden State Off To Best Offensive Start In NBA History
Dell Curry managed to hit 1,245 shots from behind the arc during his 16-year NBA career. Son Steph meanwhile has already hit 1,235 3-pointers in just seven NBA seasons while also playing in substantially fewer games.
Dell put together a solid NBA career, reaching its peak with his 1993-1994 NBA Sixth Man of the Year Award. Unlike his son, however, Dell never led the NBA in 3s, which is something Steph has accomplished in each of the last three seasons.
Kobe Has Harsh Words For Himself
While Steph Curry definitely has a 10-0 start on his mind, it's hard to imagine he isn't also thinking about the chance to surpass his father. Whenever Steph does pass Dell, one thing is for sure and that is that there is bound to be a very nice moment between the pair of NBA stars.
