Wade Barrett, Wayne Rooney Feud: Best Celeb Angles In WWE History [VIDEO]

Wayne Rooney, we're afraid we've got some bad news.

After the Manchester United star showed up to Monday Night RAW in England and slapped the taste out of Bad News Barrett's mouth during Sheamus' WWE Championship tournament first-round match against Cesaro, the WWE's Englishman is on the war path.

Manchester United's twitter handle revealed that Barrett was in Manchester United's locker room looking for the soccer star.

"Where is he, ay?" Barrett asked. "I'm here Wayne, where are you? Let's finish this off."

Rooney's involvement could potentially lead to a match sometime down the line and the two may cross paths at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings. It wouldn't be the first time a celebrity or athlete stepped out of their regular comfort zone and into the squared circle.

Here are five of the best celebrity and athlete involvements in WWE history.

5) Ronda Rousey

The reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion is an avid wrestling fan and even aspires to one day be Divas Champion. "Rowdy" got involved in Stephanie McMahon's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge at SummerSlam in 2014, but she upped the ante even further last March at WrestleMania 31. Rousey jumped over the barrier to aid The Rock in a war of words against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, and she even threw down against the power couple.

4) Donald Trump

Before becoming one of the most controversial political candidates in American history, The Donald put his luscious locks on the line against Vince McMahon's at WrestleMania 23. The rules were simple, if Trump's charge, Bobby Lashley, won, Vince McMahon would be shaved bald, while if McMahon's representative, Umaga, stood tall, Trump would finally get his ridiculous hair cut. The Battle of the Billionaires went in the Republican candidates favor, leading to Mr. McMahon getting a buzz cut.

3) Stephen Amell

The "Arrow" star teamed up with Neville at this year's SummerSlam to take on Stardust and Barrett, who apparently has a thing with battling celebrities. Amell, a WWE fan, looked to be having the time of his life and held his own in the ring,

2) Lawrence Taylor

The pro football Hall of Famer is the only NFL player that can ever say he main evented a WrestleMania. LT battled the behemoth known as Bam Bam Bigelow in the final match of WrestleMania XI in 1995. The two-time Super Bowl champion surprisingly was a natural in the sports entertainment realm, and knocked off Bigelow to notch his first and only win in the WWE.

1) Mike Tyson

A lot of celebrities and athletes come into the WWE and think they're too good for sports entertainment. Tyson was not one of those people. The youngest WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight champion in history had a ball when he served as special outside enforcer for the WrestleMania XIV main event between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels. Tyson even got involved in the storyline of the match, siding with Michaels before turning face and counting the final fall for Austin. He then knocked "HBK" out cold.
