Greg Hardy Domestic Violence Case: Cowboys DE Finally Punished For Abhorrent Acts [VIDEO]

NFL fans who are disgusted that Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy is on the field following the release of frightening images from his domestic violence case may want to applaud the Eagles’ offensive linemen today. Two Eagles linemen, tackle Lane Johnson and center Jason Kelce, said they put “extra mustard” on their blocks when Hardy was in the crosshairs.

"Any time I had a chance to put a little extra mustard on a block, I tried," Johnson told the Philadelphia Daily News.

"I'm glad he didn't have a good day," Kelce said. "It's a joke a guy like that is able to play this quickly." He also went in depth on how little he thinks of the Cowboys controversial lineman.

"There are three (types) of people I have zero respect for in this world," Kelce said. "It's people who hit women, people who molest children, and rapists.”

Hardy's Record Of Domestic Violence Has Been Expunged

Hardy was limited to one sack, and Johnson thinks that the public beating has taken a toll on Hardy’s play on the field. "He wasn't all that emotional in the game. I guess he is in other games. I don't know if the stuff got to him on the news, but he kind of seemed out of it a little bit,” Johnson said.

"He's good. But he's a guy when things are going good, he's great. But when he's not effective, he'll shut it down.”

Johnson’s perceptions are a far cry from the Cowboys’ understanding of Hardy’s ability, as well as the fire he showed on the sidelines of Dallas’ Week 7 loss to the Giants. Hardy came unglued in that tilt, screaming at a number of teammates on the sideline, including star WR Dez Bryant , and pushing the special teams coach. After that outburst, Hardy wasn’t disciplined, and owner Jerry Jones called him “one of the real leaders” on the team.

Following the release of the disturbing photos of his abuse on ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder, Jones still stood by his player.

"Greg has a commitment to us. He has a commitment to do the right thing. We expect him to do the right thing," Jones said.
