Timothy Bradley Jr. finally showed the world what a change in mentor can do.
Bradley unraveled a dominating performance en route to a TKO win against challenger Brandon Rios to retain his WBO title with a ninth round stoppage at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

It was a very different Bradley that came out this time, showing the world the handy work of Teddy Atlas whom he chose to take over from erstwhile trainer Joel Diaz.
"The game plan was to take pieces from him, break him down little by little like a piranha," said Atlas.

And the crazy part of it all is that the two worked together for just seven weeks. One can just wonder how Bradley would be performing if the two had been together longer. While that remains to be seen, someone from the Manny Pacquiao camp was pretty impressed with Bradley’s performance – Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.
"That was the best Bradley I've ever seen, and we've had him for so many years," says Arum on Desert Storm who may have just catapulted himself to the shortlist of potential opponents that Pacquiao will be facing in April, 2016.
And while Bradley looks forward to possibly being the chosen one over Amir Khan and Terence Crawford, Rios may have just hinted of retirement after his sluggish performance.
"My body is not the same no more," Rios told the media. "I've been in a lot of wars. I think it's time to hang it up. I'm done. It's been a great run. I'm sorry I didn't put on a great show…I think I'm going to hang up my gloves and call it a night."
For Bradley, the options weigh more than a date with Pacquiao. With his big win, there is a chance that he could go up against the winner of another big fight coming up, the one between Miguel Cotto and Canelo ‘Saul’ Alvarez which happens two weeks from now.
