San Francisco 49ers Rumors: Colin Kaepernick Doesn't Need Resuscitation [VIDEO]

Colin Kaepernick has quietly taken all the potshots thrown at him, though it seems that the 28-year-old quarterback is not about to let out a rant and complain.

The 49ers quarterback does however air some disagreements when it comes to his characterization, something that was questioned by coach Jim Tomsula and offensive coordinator Geep Chryst.

The assessment made by Tomsula and Chryst is of course that celebrated ‘step back and breathe’ claim which in all doesn’t calculate on the part of Kaepernick.

Are they trying to say that Kaepernick is wilting under pressure? Colin apparently begs to differ.

"Pressure is not being prepared for what you want to do," he told the media. "To me, I've played full seasons and had success. Mentally, I've been through it before. I'm not incapable of going through this."

Kaepernick had already been told as early as last week that he would be benched and the fifth-year quarterback hardly made any qualms about it, knowing that everything was beyond his control. But is Kaepernick really being made the scapegoat by the 49ers? Apparently a lot of his supporters think so and many feel that it is somehow tied up with the unfortunate parting of former coach Jim Harbaugh, who now leads Michigan.

"I don't pass judgment on that. I do everything I can to try to help this team win, try to support my teammates, and try to go out and get a W," Kaepernick said.

Will Kaepernick ever be elevated back to the starting position he held for three years? That remains to be seen. But for now, he knows that he needs to continue maintain focus and be locked in.
