The Undertaker WWE Rumors: 'Deadman' Could Win World Championship At 'Survivor Series' After Seth Rollins Injury [VIDEO]

Could the silver anniversary bring some gold for The Undertaker?

The "Demon from Death Valley" will celebrate his 25th year with the WWE when the Survivor Series emanates live from the Philips Arena in Atlanta on Nov. 22. It appeared The Undertaker would be the main focus of the WWE's annual Thanksgiving Week tradition, but after the news that Seth Rollins hurt his knee and was forced to vacate the gold, the event has taken on a brand new connotation.

Former Champ Seth Rollins Out 6-9 Months With Serious Injury

"The Architect" tore his MCL and ACL in a match against Kane at a live event in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday. The ailment left the WWE no choice but to strip him of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the company announced a tournament to crown a new champion at Survivor Series.

An event that was supposed to showcase the WWE Superstar with the darkest soul now glimmers with the certainly of a new champion being crowned. Though The Undertaker was supposed to be the main emphasis of the WWE's November staple until the tournament was announced, maybe both will coincide for one final defining moment for "The Deadman."

WrestleMania Feuds That Can Begin At Survivor Series

The current WWE storylines appear to be building toward the unholy alliance of The Undertaker and Kane taking on the blood-thirsty brood known as The Wyatt Family. It appeared the Brothers of Destruction were set to team up with some other Superstars to try and take down the fearsome foursome in a traditional Survivor Series elimination tag team match.

Now, all bets are off.

It's possible the WWE still roles with the storyline between The Undertaker, Kane and The Wyatt Family, but it also needs to fill out the tournament brackets, so the rivalry may extend to the confines of the WWE's quest to crown a new title-holder.

The Undertaker has won seven World Championships throughout his illustrious career, but he hasn't held the richest prize in Vince McMahon's company since 2009. 'Taker has given it all for the WWE throughout his storied run, which included giving up his streak to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX and wrestling into his 50s.

The deadliest Superstar in WWE history burst onto the scene at Survivor Series in 1990. A year later, he knocked off Hulk Hogan at that event to capture his first World Title.

Perhaps he'll walk out of the 2015 spectacle once more as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Maybe "The Deadman" has one final glorious moment left in him at Survivor Series.
