Jordan -- who signed a four-year deal with the Clippers -- reneged a verbal agreement to sign with the Mavericks in July. His “heartfelt” apology was quickly questioned and dismissed by Cuban.

"Dear Mavs fans," Cuban wrote, per Fox Sports. "When is an apology not an apology? When you didn't write it yourself.”

Ahead of Thursday’s contest, Cuban’s vitriol upgraded to dismissal.

"I don't hate the Clippers. That's a strong word,” he said, per Dallas News.

Then, after a pause, he added: "I pretty much hate anybody who doesn't have Dallas or Mavericks across their chest. I just don't give a [rip] about the Clippers. Maybe that explains it."

After tip-off, Cuban showed the third and final sign of reconciliation: the make-up kiss.

In the end, it was Jordan and the Clippers who had the last laugh.

Los Angeles polished off a 104-88 victory. Jordan finished 8-of-9 from the field, dropping 19 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks.
