The Seahawks didn’t just improve to 3-4 Thursday night, they took the first step toward a third consecutive Super Bowl run.
“We want to finish the game the right way,” QB Russell Wilson said after the game, per Field Gulls. “We have been so close, we have lost four games right at the end.

“We can't get too high from the win, though. Celebrate for a day or two, but then get back on track and go 1-0 every week.”
Seattle’s remaining schedule is manageable enough to allow for such consistency.

Five of the next nine games are against teams below .500, and two are against the division-leading Cardinals. What’s left of Arizona’s 1.5-game lead in the division can dissipate in the span of 120 minutes.
What would remain in the postseason are a slew of teams fundamentally flawed to their core.
The NFC East is considered the “NFC Least” in 2015 for a reason -- and outside of the Packers and Panthers -- there are no experienced contenders in the NFC North and South.
Admittedly, Carolina did defeat Seattle in Week 6, but regular season success doesn’t always translate in the postseason. In those moments -- where every down is contested at the highest level imaginable -- are you trusting Ted Ginn and Corey Brown to gash the Seahawks defense?
Which leaves Green Bay and Aaron Rodgers.
Much like the Patriots in 2014 -- who were written off at 2-2 -- Seattle’s funeral was premature. There’s no need to pick out a casket just yet.
