Bad news Jets fans, Tom Brady isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"I'd like to play a long time, yeah, a long time," Brady told the Associated Press. "There's a lot that goes into playing well. I've played with a lot of great teammates, but I want to play for a long time. Maybe 10 more years. I think that's probably what my goal is."

That means Brady, 38, plans on playing until he's almost 50 years old. To his credit, the four-time Super Bowl champion doesn't appear to be losing form anytime soon. Brady is fifth in the NFL with 1,699 passing yards this season and has carried the team to a 5-0 start fresh off of winning the Super Bowl.

Brady is also second in the league with 14 touchdown passes and has only thrown one interception in the young season. The quarterback has been setting the world on fire after having his four-game Deflategate ban overturned in federal court.

The three-time Super Bowl MVP realizes that as an athlete, he can't always control his own destiny, but he plans to suit up with the Patriots until at least 2025.

"Well, it's not always up to me," he said. "That's what my goals are, so that's just what I'm hoping. And it will take a lot to achieve that. Obviously, a team has to want you, but I think that's, you know, I love playing this sport. I love making a commitment to my teammates and my coaches, and hopefully I can do it for a long time."

The Jets know first-hand what Brady can do as he's led the Patriots to six straight AFC East titles, as the club has become an automatic atop the division. New York knows all too well what challenge awaits it when it travels to New England Sunday with new head coach Todd Bowles trying to best Brady for the first time in his career.

Brady is 20-6 overall against the Jets with 36 scores and 12 picks.

But even if the Jets manage to get the best of Brady and his bunch on Sunday, they may have to deal with him for another decade.
