Jerry West News: Los Angeles Lakers Legend Wants To See Michael Jordan In The NBA Logo [VIDEO]

Jerry West, the Los Angeles Lakers legend, is currently supporting My AFib Risk, which aims to raise public awareness on the risk of having stroke. In his interview with Hoops Addict, West said that Jordan was the greatest player he had ever seen. He explained that while Jordan was not part of the Lakers, he had established his name in the industry and had been regarded as a prodigious player in the realm of basketball.

West also said that he admired players that were actually upright defensive players, as well as those who were good offensive players. He mentioned that at that time, he had felt that Jordan had been the both the best defensive and offensive player in the game, which had made his teams win.

Designed in 1969, the NBA logo had become part of West's heritage, according to Huffington Post. West had become the insignia of the NBA that sports fans had called him "The Logo."

Aside from Jordan, other big names people first think of when they watch NBA were Bill Russell, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird, according to CBS Sports. The publication also said that while they are all great players the league had to offer, Jordan had delineated various basketball generations and it had sustained well during his active playing career.
