Don’t get in the way of Scott Boras and his money.

3 Places Daniel Murphy Could Land Next Season

The super agent secured an insurance policy for Matt Harvey that would protect the Mets pitcher if he suffers any injury that results in a loss of value for his next contract, per ESPN. The policy was negotiated toward the end of the regular season after tensions rose over Harvey’s pitch count.

The news leaks just days after the Mets secured a 4-1 victory over the Cubs, pushing their NLCS lead to 2-0. Clearly, Boras hasn’t received the memo.

Unfortunately for Mets fans, each win presents Boras with an opportunity to steal the headlines.

Don’t think he’s above doing so.
